Bleed No More

Title: Bleed No More
Character: Ianto, some implied Ianto/Lisa
Theme: Angst
Rating: PG 13 for a few curse words
Spoilers: Cyberwoman and Fragments
Summary: My take on Ianto's possible inner dialogue towards the end of Cyberwoman.
Authors Notes: This drabble was inspired by and the title was taken from a line in Breathe No More by Evanescence.
Disclaimers: You know the drill. I do not own these guys.

Ianto had been kneeling in the tepid pool of blood for what felt like ages. Focused on the dead woman lying in his arms. The logical part of his brain knew that Jack was right. Lisa was gone. His Lisa would have never killed an innocent girl just to be with Ianto, but he was not willing to admit it to himself just yet. He wanted to be filled with rage at his colleagues. For killing Lisa, for not giving him the ten minutes they promised, for not inviting him out for drinks, for never giving a shit about him, for so many damn things. But the rage was nowhere to be found. In its place was a sense of loss. Ianto has lost everything he had worked for. Lisa, his self-respect, his favorite suit, and soon his job, sure he schemed and flirted his way in to it but part of him had enjoyed it. Soon it would be all over. There was only one way to take care of a problem like this in Ianto’s mind. But Ianto was not afraid because he knew after it was over he would be with his Lisa again.

Whew. I was just about to go to sleep, but now I'm not so sure.
I could really feel the numbness and loss and the inability to just rage away.

Well done.

Fuck. I can barely keep my eyes open. So as Shakespeare said "To sleep, perchance to dream."
But I wonder what those dreams will be now.

Great job.

Somewhat oddly... I slept quite well.

Last night wasn't so great, though.
Damn cats woke me up at 5:00 AM.
They thought it would be fun to have a run around the house party.
I did NOT.

Did you get that story I sent you?
Or have I scared you away forever?

Heh.

Yeah I hate it when my pets liek to have late night parties. If I am awake you can do whatever the hell you want but if I am sleeping please do not bark at nothing at 4 in the morning. It is not very nice.

Yes I did get that lovely story. You are so twisted.

Heh. I think it needs some work, but you have to give me credit for... being twisted. Glad you liked it. There aren't many people I would have sent it to, for fear of being de-friended.

Yeah-- why is it always at around four AM? And never when I'M actually up at four. Then... they're sleeping.

It takes a special type of talent to write something really messed up but still have it make sense. Most people can do really strange but it is not realistic.

I know that. Sometimes I want to wake them up so they know what it is like.

I know... and then, they just look at you the way my cat looks here.
He's actually really shy, but sometimes he looks EVIL.

My dog holds grudges. I took her to the vet once and she would not come near me for the next to days because of it. She can be very temperAmental when she wants to be.

My cats have very short term memories... except for the damn vet.

It's weird how they don't seem to recall that you stepped on their tail two hours ago, but they do remember what the pet carrier looks like, even if they haven't seen it in a year.

It is weird how that can happen. My dog knows when she is going to get a bath. It is weird because on second she is next to you and the next she has gone and hidden under the kitchen table.

My friend has a dog who senses it, too. She starts to very slowly head for the dog door...

To no avail.

You think they would learn and try something else. I mean if what you are doing is not working you might have a flaw.

Isn't there a saying about not teaching old dogs new tricks?

I'm sure it applies to cats as well. Mine never seem to learn that they will NOT get my fried chicken.

You are right but I think there is probably a saying about anything if you look hard enough. People love to write down their "wise" comments on life and share it with the world whether or not they want to hear it.

Even when the sayings don't even make any sense.
Which, I have noticed, they frequently do not.

We need to remedy this. I'll add it to the master list.
Which, BTW, is currently a purple Post It.

Good. We really need a list of approved sayings. Get rid off all those damn ones that people think are real deep but they just do not make any sense.

I am glad someone is keeping a list. It says me a lot of time searching when it comes time to do whatever it was I was supposed to do.

Just keep your fingers crossed that I don't misplace that damn Post-It.

I have at least 20 of them all over my desk. NEATLY in place, mind you.

Yes that would be a pain in the ass. And plus we do not want our genius plans fall in to the wrong hands. If that happens we will have a world taking over fight to the death. It will so be on.

Our plan is far too good to fail. I have made certain that there is no way it can be discovered by the Morons. The encryption code has been designed and memorized by two Nobel Prize winners who owe me personal favors. Plus, I have blackmail photos. That never hurts.
;)
Even if we did end up with a fight, we would SO win.
Because we are made of WIN.

Dark, I like. The blood imagery, as well.

That had to have been a very lonely and hopeless moment.

Thanks. The song really helped out a lot when trying to get the right atmoshpere for the scene.

All the little pieces shatter
Shards of me too sharp to put back together
Too small to matter but big enough to cut me
Into sa many little pieces if I tried
To touch her

^^^I love this song *not to mention this is my favorite band*

tepid pool of blood *shivers*

I love moody emo gothic angsty Ianto because it seems to fit him so how that behind his mask he's hiding his true self.

I always found it fascinating how well he was at keeping his emotions in chest through out the show. You know there has to a lot going on in that head of his.
