You know what time it is?

About 1:30 but it is also time for some pimping. This time it is going to be Mr. Eric Himan. I have posted one of his songs before (Bartender) but I feel the need to give him a little more attention because he deservers it. So lets do this shit. I found him about two years ago right after he released Dark Horse, his fourth album. I liked him but I only had heard a few songs on his myspace so I did not dig to far in to his music, a sad thing on my part because I was missing out on a very talented artist. His fits in to the Folk Rock genre. His music has a very wide range. It can go from a Tracy Chapmanesque depressing ballad to a very up beat and danceable pop/rock song. He has a great voice and he can write very catchy songs that stick with you. The song that made me buy an album is Little Boy Blue off of his most recent album Resonate. I decided to get that one and Dark Horse at the same time since that was the album that I found him. I was very pleased to learn that Little Boy Blue was just the tip of the iceberg as far as his talent goes. I immediately feel in love with the song Clyde off of Dark Horse. That song is probably one of the most emotional songs that I have heard in a long time. The sense of sadness and abandonment just came pouring out for it and made me feel so sad for whoever the subject of the song it about. I would comment on every song of his because they all deserve it but that would just take forever. The last one I am going to talk about is My Decision. This song is along the line of Tori Amos' Me and a Gun because they are both about sexual assault that the artist went through. Unlike Tori's song this one seems to be a bit after the actual incident, instead of right after, and therefore the attitude of the song is more of anger then sadness, not that it is not there it is just buried under the anger that set in later on.

And I always enjoy doing it but I like to own whatever I am pimping espEcIally if it is an singer/band. I like to know if I enjoy the whole album or if it is only a few songs. I would hate to endorse something then find out the rest of the songs on the album are shite. I think I am going to have to talk about a movie next so I can wait for my damn CD's to get here. That is the only shitting thing about like artist that are signed to independent labels. You just cannot go in to Best Buy and pick up the album.

Very true.
Sorry if my responses are shorter than usual, but I'm not feeling too good.

Hey no problem. I completely understand that how you are feeling, both physically and emotionally, effects posting length. Happens to me a lot.

Yeah, it sucks. But it'll pass and I'll be writing weird stories again. Thanks for the support. It means a lot. Especially when people are all "snap out of it!"

Oh god I hate when people do that shit to me. It normally does "snap me out of it", for the time being at least but then I am normally pissed at them. I am normally an easy going guy but when I get pissed look out because heads will roll. I also hate when people keep asking you what is wrong when either nothing is wrong or you do not want to talk about it.
