I am a little freaked out right now.

So I just finished episode number six Counrtycide. That was a really messed up episode. It was like the Blair Witch Project meets the Texas Chain Saw Massacre meets The Village. Once again poor Ianto. They were not really nice to him in this episode. I am feeling a little mixed up with Gwen right now. She was kicking some ass in this episode and rocking a pair of Converse but the end was just wrong. Kind of saw it coming after what went down two episodes ago but it is still wrong.

Oh yeah.......and *that's* when Gwen started to really get on my nerves...

Because I adore Rhys...he's a GREAT guy.....big lug that he is....

I still like her but she is not my favorite character like before. I saw that coming but it still let me down.

OMG... I haven't thought about 'The Blair Witch Project' in, like, forever. Everyone told me how terrifying it was-- and then I saw it and could not stop laughing.

Nice comparisons there.

I really enjoyed that movie. A horror movie that relied on suspense rather than gore to scare you or try to scare you.

I think I had just heard so much about how scary it was that by the time I finally saw it, there was no way it could frighten me. I do agree with you about it relying on suspense, rather than cheap theatrics, to keep the audience wondering...

I wouldn't say that I was ever sacred during it. I was on the edge of my seat, so to speak, wanting to know what was going to happen next. It is nice to see a movie that is more a throw back to the classic horror/suspense films that use to be. Good to know they have not gone the way of the dodo.

What I remember most is how annoying that bitchy girl was. I kept hoping she'd be the next one to go!

Also, it was nice to see something that did not rely just on special effects, even if the movie did make me laugh. And I only laughed because one of my friends had been so frightened by it that he and his boyfriend kept the car windows rolled up all the way home. I think I was mostly laughing about that.

Yeah that chick bugged me too.

I have to say that is probably one of the best post Blair Witch stories I have ever heard.

I wanted so much to just give her a good slap.

And if you could see the guys I'm talking about, you'd laugh even harder. I love them both, but they look like they belong to the Young Accountants of America Club or something!

They sound like my friend John. We always tease him when he dresses up. We tell him he looks a young republican. He hates it.

The guys I know look like younger versions of Alec Baldwin and William H. Macy. They did not like it when I told them that...

I can see that. I do not think even those two guys liked to be told they look like themselves.

You have a point.
But hey-- they could look worse.

Very true. There is a Keith Richards out there.

Seriously-- how is he still alive?
Dec. 25th, 2008 07:08 am (UTC)
I do not think he is. I think he might be the most famous zombie we have.

You just may be right about that.
Makes perfect sense, when you think about it.
