Three questions

One serious, one not so, and a discussion. Also I'm not going to dance around and avoid spoiler statements. I know there is at least one of you out there who may be reading this who has not seen the show that wants to. I would suggest you avoid this post until a later date.

1. I watched the episode Cyberwoman with a friend friday and we could not agree on what happened to Ianto. I think that Lisa killed him when she threw him she thinks he was just knocked out. So what do you all think?

2. Do we ever find out what the hell is up with the hand in the jar? I was hoping by the last episode we would know who it belongs to but sadly this is not the case.

3. Ok. If you make out with the person who's name you stole is that just a really elaborate form of masturbation or does it just count as making out with someone?

1. I think Ianto died, and Jack breathed life into him again. I might've watched them snogging about ten times.

2. From what I understand, and I haven't seen Season Two yet, that's Dr. Who's hand. Not sure why it's in a jar.

3. That was serious making out. Jack/Jack=omigawdhawt Best line, "I had no idea he was hot!" rofl

I was thinking so after the line about a certain Doctor in the finale. That is kind of creepy though.

Best line, "I had no idea he was hot!"

Completely agree. Tosh's reaction to it was great.

1. I wish this had beed addressed at a later point but it never was. It's never been indicated that Jack can bring people back to life, so I think Ianto was just completely knocked out.

2. There was an episode of Doctor Who where the Doctor loses his hand. Apparantly Torchwood managed to retrive it and Jack kept it as his 'Doctor detector' because he has spent over 100 years waiting to meet up with the Doctor again. (Since Jack was introduced in Season one of Doctor Who, (in a 5 episode story arc) way before season one of TW was aired. It shows how Jack was that con man, but then joined forces with the Doctor and Rose, and how the Daleks killed Jack but was brought back to life....permanantly...buy Rose who had ingested the time vortex....). So Jack wanted to find the Doctor to see if he could be 'fixed.' (and in season three of Doctor Who, there's a 3 episode story arc) of Jacks time with the Doctor in between season one and two of TW).

3. I think it was just a *very* random thing that Jack met the original Captain Jack....and they just completely were taken with each other....but TW Jack knew he had to let original Jack go at the end.

Clearly I'm *way* too obsessed with all this...

That is the awesome.
Ok you so win at life. I am not too big a fan of Dr. Who and I did not want to have to go through it just to find out.

Obsessions are fun. They are a great way to kill time.

Re: That is the awesome.
Well...I'm one of the idiots who *had* to tune into Doctor Who to get all the background on Jack....and somehow got hooked on that show (but not *nearly* as much as I LOVE TW).

It's funny, growing up, I had heard about Doctor Who, and it was on the PBS Station here...I remember watching a few minutes of an ep here and there thinking it was one of the silliest things I'd ever seen.

Who knew I'd be so into all this at this stage in my life...

Oh! BTW, I have this whole detailed description of what happens in between season one and season two of TW with Jack and the Doctor. I can email it to you if you'd like.

Re: That is the awesome.
At least you are not the idiot who watched a few episodes because they noticed that the woman who plays Martha Jones is a hottie.

I could not get in to Dr. Who that much because it is to Sci-Fi for my taste. I was told that Torchwood was more Quantum Leap then Star Trek so I finally gave it a try.

I would love you forever if you would send my what happens between season 1 and 2. I would offer you my first born for it but I already promised it to mandysbitch. You can have my second if you want.
