On a Björk and Tori fix lately

I have been a fan of Björk since 1995. I remember watching the MTV Video Awards for that year and It's Oh So Quiet was nominated for a ton of awards and shocking it lost all of them. But I fell in love with the Video and Björk. And well with Tori I cannot remember the first time that I ever heard a Tori Amos song. It was probably in middle school. One of my close friends was a huge fan of hers so I am pretty sure that he introduced her to me in the 8th grade. While I have been a fan of both artist for a while recently I have been listening to them non stop and I think it is because of Lady Gaga. I have already stated that I am not that big of a fan of hers. And it bugs me at how people are people are going ape shit over how "creative" that she is. I'm sorry but to me she is not creative. I mean if you take away the weird shit that she wears it is just average pop music. I always end up bring up Tori Amos and Björk about artist that are actually creative. So yeah here are the songs that have been stuck in my head.

I have to agree with you. With Bjork, the costumes, wild hairstyles, strange videos, all come from creative place inside that needs to be expressed. Lady Gaga is all theatrics and shock value, stuff she can put on and take off when the next trend comes along. In a couple of years, she'll be wearing designer fashions. I can't imagine Bjork shedding her outrageous outfits because they are no longer in style.
